From the first conversation to your site going live, this is roughly how it goes.

We talk it through
You tell me what you do and what you want the site for. I'll ask a few questions, then send you a fixed price.

I build it
You get a private link so you can watch it come together and tell me what you'd like changed as I go.

I show you the admin page
Once your words and photos are in, I'll walk you through making changes. You also get a short written guide to keep.

It goes live
I connect your domain and test everything on phones and computers. If you need help after that, I'm still around, charged separately.

How much does a website cost?
A single landing page with links to your social media starts at £35, and that includes an admin page for editing what's on it. Bigger sites depend on what they need to do: a few pages and a contact form costs a lot less than a site with accounts, maps and calculators. I'll give you a fixed price before any work starts, and that's what you pay. Hosting is extra (see below). There's more on the prices section.
Will I be able to change it myself?
Yes. If you can write an email, you can use the admin page: pick a page, change what you want and press Save. I'll show you how, and you'll have a written guide to refer back to.
How long does it take?
That depends on the size of the site and how quickly the words and photos come together. I'll give you an idea when I send the price. If writing the text is the hard part, I can help with that.
Is hosting included?
No. Hosting isn't included in the price of the website. It's extra and billed once a year.
Do I get the files?
Yes. You get all of the source files for your site, so it's yours to keep whatever happens.
Can you take over my old website?
Yes. I can move your content across from Wix and other website builders, and keep your old page addresses working so you don't drop down Google.
What if something goes wrong?
Every change you save is backed up, so it can be undone. If something needs fixing, get in touch. Help after launch is charged separately.
